Original description from Ashby Job Boards
Ambrook helps American family-run businesses become more profitable and resilient. From volatile markets to climate shifts, independent operators face mounting pressure. While sustainable investments often yield the best long-term returns, they require financial clarity and capital that fragmented legacy systems can’t provide. We are rebuilding the financial infrastructure that real economy operators rely on. By replacing paperwork with modern tools for accounting, banking, and spending, Ambrook gives owners the data they need to prove viability to lenders and the next generation. We empower the stewards of land and labor to make confident investments in their future. We’re a Series B startup backed by Lachy Groom, Thrive Capital, Dylan Field, Thomson Reuters Ventures, Cameron Ventures, and leaders at Notion, Gusto, and Vercel. We’re looking for team members to help us untangle the intersection of American industry, climate, and the economy. The Opportunity Ambrook is building financial tools for farmers, ranchers, and rural businesses—and scaling that mission means scaling how we sell, support, and serve customers. We're looking for a strategic, systems-minded operator to own the infrastructure behind our go-to-market engine. The baseline is owning these systems end to end; you’ll also help identify where the team is losing time, deals, or revenue, and fix it. You'll work across the team to make sure the right work is happening, in the right order, with the right tools. The role blends analytics, judgment, and execution. Because you'll build and run the systems our GTM teams work in, you'll understand our commercial data better than anyone. You'll use that vantage point to find the gap between what the data says and what the team is actually doing, then work with those teams to close it. You'll report to our Head of Operations and partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing WHAT YOU’LL DO Build and run commercial team infrastructure - Design and manage core GTM processes, including lead routing, forecasting, call prioritization, handoffs, deal tracking, and pipeline management. - Analyze data and build performance dashboards that help Sales, CS, and Marketing teams make decisions and track progress and outcomes in partnership with our Data team. - Define and maintain standards for pricing, discounting, and deal approval that drive consistency. - Support commercial team in defining revenue targets and planning activities to hit those targets - Identify and design process automation and agentic workflows, strategically leveraging human intervention. - Deeply understand our customers and mirror their needs throughout internal processes. WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU’LL… - Learn Ambrook’s marketing, sales and customer success motion, including our lead sources, product segments, and data flows. - Visit an Ambrook customer on-site to familiarize yourself with our product and customers. - Audit current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and rep focus. - Build at least one process improvement through AI workflows or internal systems. WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU’LL… - Implement changes to systems and data infrastructure that make it easy to ask and answer key questions about our commercial data - Identify and implement process changes that improve sales, marketing, or CX efficiency - Identify the highest-leverage AI opportunities across GTM and pilot at least one automation in production. - Build process for setting and tracking targets, including commission structure for new offerings. WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU’LL… - Own operational infrastructure for Sales, CX, and product operations. - Define and maintain deal standards and a clear approval process for discounting. - Build processes that systematizes what’s working and creates the infrastructure to run rapid experiments and quickly evaluate outcomes. - Demonstrate measurable impact on sales efficiency, conversion, or retention. ABOUT YOU - 4+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Product Operations, Strategy & Ops, or similar roles in fast-paced B2B SaaS environments. - Comfortable with data and systems; strong in SQL and Excel, and experienced with CRM tooling like HubSpot. You know how to spot anomalies and dig into what’s happening from a dashboard - Experienced agent builder to solve internal painpoints to complex systems. You know how to map a system and identify the right technical tools to support it. - Thoughtful problem-solver with good judgment. You know when to go deep and when to move fast. - Clear communicator who can bring structure to messy problems and lead cross-functional work. - Experience in fast-paced, high-ambiguity startup environment - Bonus: Experience in accounting, fintech, and/or vertical SaaS. - Bonus: Experience working in American industry: ag, trucking, construction, etc.
