- Label and annotate photos, graphics, videos, stickers, and designs according to internal guidelines

- Manage your time independently to meet task delivery timelines and output targets

Requirements
- Experience as a multimedia designer with a strong portfolio in visual communication
- Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage time efficiently and deliver tasks independently
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn in a dynamic environment
- Basic knowledge of data annotation (bonus, not required)

This role is a 12-month engagement, working 35-40 hours per week. What you’d be doing in this role Complete a variety of labelling tasks based on provided guidelines within a limited timeframe in order to support Canva’s AI feature training and development. At the moment this role is focussed on: Labelling, annotating, and evaluating photos, graphics, videos, stickers, designs, and other data types within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, in accordance with internal labelling guidelines. Delivering labelled assets based on the set timeline and meeting output targets per labelling task. Reviewing and refining your own labels based on feedback to maintain accuracy and consistency. Being responsive and consistently checking all communications for task deliveries and updates. Managing your own time effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks. Being participative and attending all briefing and run-through sessions. Following Canva’s data security and confidentiality policies. Collaborating with in-house team members for ongoing alignment on quality standards. You're probably a match if You have experience as a multimedia designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of visual communication fundamentals You can manage time efficiently and deliver tasks independently You have exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail You have the ability to quickly adapt and learn in a dynamic environment You have excellent written and verbal English communication skills You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting You have basic knowledge of data annotation (bonus, but not required) About the team Canva's Generative AI Platform Group is responsible for the delivery of capabilities which empower transformational ML and AI initiatives, from early ideation and prototyping, through to scaling to meet the needs of millions of Canva users in production. We empower thousands of engineers and product managers to deliver amazing product features which harness the power of cutting-edge technologies. Data Labelling PH is a key team within this subgroup, currently comprised of 5 in-house labellers and 16 Data Labelling Freelancers. Our goal is to provide essential data for AI training and development through data collection, annotation, and evaluation. We aim to efficiently address customer data labelling requests while maintaining high quality standards. A portfolio link or PDF showcasing your top 3 designs, photographs or pieces of artwork.
