CHEERS.FAN #1 | Founding Infrastructure Engineers | Bay Area / Remote CHEERS.FAN #1 is an early-stage company exploring infrastructure challenges involving real-time coordination, distributed systems, and large-scale interactive experiences. We are seeking founding engineers in three broad areas: 1. Distributed Systems & Platform Engineering Building reliable, scalable systems involving distributed coordination, event-driven architectures, cloud infrastructure, networking, and high-concurrency platforms. 2. Real-Time Synchronization & Timing Systems Building systems where timing, synchronization, low-latency communication, deterministic behavior, and real-time coordination matter. 3. Embedded & Edge Infrastructure Engineering Building infrastructure that operates close to devices, networks, and the edge, including embedded systems, firmware, networking, and performance-sensitive environments. Experience with technologies such as Go, Rust, C++, Kafka, Kubernetes, WebRTC, networking, streaming infrastructure, distributed coordination systems, embedded systems, or related technologies is valuable. We are particularly interested in engineers who have built large-scale, reliable systems where timing, coordination, performance, and resilience matter. If that sounds interesting, we'd welcome a conversation. Eastman Russell Founder & CEO CHEERS.FAN #1 Contact: Eastman@VBCheers.com
