Key Responsibilities
- Lead ESG strategy and policy oversight for Igloo across APAC as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive ESG strategy including policies and procedures, establish baseline ESG status, and define goals and action plans
- Track and share ESG updates internally and with external stakeholders such as the Board, customers, and employees
- Lead external audits and certification processes (e.g., Client Protection Pathway, Principles for Sustainable Insurance)
- Develop and manage plans to reduce ESG risks and environmental impacts, and monitor effectiveness of ESG management system
- Review corporate activities to ensure compliance with ESG policies, management plans, and procedures
Requirements
- Experience managing ESG data and strategies in the APAC region
- Background in ESG strategy development, policy implementation, and compliance assurance
- Experience leading external audits and certification processes (e.g., Client Protection Pathway, Principles for Sustainable Insurance)
- Ability to monitor and report on ESG risk management and environmental impact mitigation
- Experience working closely with management teams and external stakeholders such as Boards and certification bodies
