Built from the themes presented in STEP INTO SELF (THEORY) and structured using the internship framework model of the Voice Up Career Pathway system, this internship focuses on helping participants: discover their authentic strengths and purpose define meaningful direction and goals develop the habits, communication skills, and leadership abilities needed for long-term success The Foundation Most people spend years pursuing careers, goals, and expectations that do not align with who they truly are. This internship is built on a different approach: Discover who you are. Define where you are going. Develop the skills and discipline to grow. The program combines: self-reflection communication development mentorship leadership growth structured personal and professional development Why Purpose Matters Research across psychology, leadership, and workforce development consistently shows that individuals with a strong sense of purpose experience: greater motivation and resilience improved focus and decision-making stronger communication skills higher long-term career satisfaction greater adaptability during change Without clarity and purpose, people often experience burnout, disconnection, and inconsistency.
