NielsenIQ is looking to fill a new role focused on the Consumer Banking, Card Issuers, Payment Processors, Insurers, Financial Technology & Retail Brokerage space. We are seeking a Salesperson with 10+ years of experience selling data-driven research / products / services to this community. Candidates must be passionate about consumer & retail banking, data, analytics and technology. Candidates must also be very comfortable interacting with clients & prospects over the phone and in person. Responsibilities • Gather market intelligence and contribute to new product development. • Systematically call / email prospects to market NielsenIQ’s products. • Manage a pipeline of new business from initial conversation to close of sale. • Provide internal reports to management as required. • Participate in ongoing training / developmental programs. • A minimum of 10+ years of experience selling data-driven research / products / services to the consumer & retail banking community. • Strong relationships with top retail banks & brokerages. • Proven ability to grow accounts over time – both from an end-user and revenue perspective. • Extensive knowledge of the competitive landscape in the consumer analytics space. • Strong knowledge across NIQ’s core Strategic Analytics & Insights products & capabilities. • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics or Marketing. • Ability to translate NIQ product offerings into how this could translate into supporting a client’s needs. • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. • Manage the sales process through targeted phone calls, one-on-one meetings, and group presentations. • Must be proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word. • A high level of motivation, the drive to take initiative and work both independently and as a team member; a self-starter. Follow-through is an absolute must have. • Strong business development experience with the ability to sell in to, and represent the firm, at all levels within an organization. • Proven ability to maintain a high level of activity to reach an aggressive set of sales goals and objectives. • Ability to work with minimum supervision and with structure, focus and determination. Industry-Specific Qualifications • Consumer Banks: Identify emerging customer behaviors, optimize cross-sell opportunities, and improve deposit growth strategies. • Retail Brokerage & Crypto: Track investor sentiment and transaction trends to inform product development and marketing.
