This is a remote position. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role at the intersection of technology, operations, product, and strategy. You will: - Lead and scale the Engineering, BI, CI, and PMO functions. - Build internal systems, processes, and architectures that support rapid, data-driven growth. - Use technology, automation, and AI to optimize operations end-to-end. - Work with leadership to translate big-picture strategy into aligned, measurable execution. - Build dashboards, playbooks, and operational cadences that keep the entire company on track. We’re looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves solving complex problems, and can move fluidly between strategic direction and hands-on execution. **Responsibilities:** **Leadership & Strategy** - Build and lead the Engineering + Business Operations & Technology org, integrating Engineering, BI, CI, and PMO. - Serve as a key partner to the COO in defining the company’s technology and operational roadmap. - Translate strategic objectives into scalable systems, processes, and measurable outcomes. - Lead company-wide OKR planning, tracking, and execution. **Technology & Engineering** - Oversee Engineering teams, ensuring high technical quality, alignment, and velocity. - Build technical frameworks and internal tools that drive automation, scalability, and efficiency. - Introduce AI/LLM capabilities into workflows and products where relevant. **BI, Insights & Decision Enablement** - Develop dashboards, metrics, and analytics frameworks that guide smarter, faster decision-making. - Ensure strong data integrity, governance, and accessibility across teams. - Convert insights into actionable recommendations that improve company performance. **Continuous Improvement & Operations** - Identify process bottlenecks and design data-informed improvements across the business. - Lead cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Talent Ops, Product, Finance, and Leadership. - Implement automation, workflow optimization, and scalable operating systems. - Create playbooks, SOPs, cadences, and communication systems that align the organization. **Team Development** - Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing team across Engineering, BI, CI, and PMO. - Foster a culture of analytical rigor, ownership, and continuous improvement. #### Requirements **Experience & Background** - 10+ years of experience across technology, operations, strategy, business intelligence, product, or similar fields. - Engineering degree and/or MBA or postgraduate degree in Strategy, Operations, or Business. - Proven track record working across: - Engineering or Technical Leadership - BI/Data Analytics - Continuous Improvement / Process Optimization - Project or Product Management (PMO/PO) - 5+ years leading teams or cross-functional projects. - Experience in start-ups and/or mid-size companies. **Skills & Competencies** - Strong analytical and technical foundation, with experience in systems thinking and process design. - Ability to sequence and execute complex operational and technical initiatives. - Demonstrated capacity to turn data into business and operational impact. - Strong communication skills — able to influence and collaborate across all functions. - Comfortable operating at both a strategic high level and a tactical, hands-on level. - Bilingual (English & Spanish) — professional proficiency in English required. **Mindset** - Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and highly accountable. - Thrives in ambiguity and builds clarity from chaos. - Bias toward action and measurable outcomes. **Nice to Have** - Experience in fast-scaling tech companies or consulting. - Familiarity with AI/LLMs and workflow automation. - Certifications: PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma. - Experience writing or reviewing code. **What We Value** At Nexton, our values shape how we build, decide, and grow together: - We drive efficiency through data — Insights guide our actions and help us continuously improve. - We succeed when our custo
