Develop and implement internal services for monitoring, backups, and CI

As a DevOps Engineer at Covent IT, you will support project stability by monitoring operations and collaborating with clients and technical leads. You will develop and implement internal services for monitoring, backups, and continuous integration. Your work will focus on ensuring robust and scalable infrastructure for diverse client projects using cloud platforms and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure stable operation and active monitoring of company projects
  • Collaborate closely with clients and technical leads on project support
  • Develop and implement internal services for monitoring and backups

  • Administer Linux-based systems including CentOS, Debian, and FreeBSD
  • Manage core services such as FTP, SSH, SMTP, and IMAP

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer or Linux System Administrator
  • Experience working with AWS and DigitalOcean cloud platforms
  • Hands-on experience administering FTP, SSH, SMTP, and IMAP services
  • Knowledge of PHP, SQL, and Shell scripting for automation
  • Ability to configure and manage LAMP web server environments
  • Practical experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios, and Munin
