Develop and maintain macromolecular structure databases for global life science research
The Velankar team maintains macromolecular structure databases essential for biologists and life scientists worldwide. As part of the Worldwide Protein Data Bank organisation, the team manages the global archive of 3D structural data on macromolecules. They also develop the PDBe Knowledge Base and AlphaFold Protein Structure Database to support structural biology research.

- Maintain macromolecular structure databases for the Protein Data Bank

- Collaborate within an international and interdisciplinary team
Requirements
- Experience with macromolecular structure databases
- Knowledge of structural biology data standards
- Familiarity with Protein Data Bank (PDB) resources

- Proficiency in database maintenance and development
