Mcallen, Texas (United States) Do you speak Spanish and English? We have a remote customer support opening at $17.00 an hour. The class begins October 6. This is the highest rate we offer right now. Spots are limited. Do not wait to apply. ABOUT THE ROLE You will help customers over the phone from a home office you set up yourself. Most of the work is answering questions and sorting out problems for people who call in. Healthcare support program. Bilingual Spanish and English is required for this one. TRAINING Everyone goes through a certification class before handling live calls. We pay you $7.50 an hour while you are in class. You have to pass in order to move forward to live calls. Once you pass, your rate goes to $17.00 an hour. EXTRA PAY ON TOP OF YOUR RATE Finish class and begin live calls $100 Reach 30 days $50 Reach 60 days $50 Stay active through a full quarter $50 each quarter Send us someone who finishes class and works 30 days $50 Send us an experienced agent who transfers in and works 30 days $100 LOCATION RULES Your home must be in the United States, in one of the states listed here: Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Alaska, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island Every shift has to be worked from inside the United States. Working from another country is not allowed, not even for a short trip or a vacation. We cannot process your application if you live abroad, if you are a U.S. citizen currently living in another country, or if your state is missing from the list above. Minimum age is 18 and you must be authorized to work in the United States. EQUIPMENT CHECKLIST Before you apply, look over this list. These are hard requirements and there is no way around them. Your PC: Windows 11, licensed and updated. Desktop or laptop is fine. Will not work: Mac, Chromebook, tablet, netbook, phone, Microsoft Surface, or any ARM processor. Processor has to be one of these or newer Intel i3-9000, i5-7000, i7-5000, i9, Pentium G5400/N6400, Celeron J4000/N5000, AMD Ryzen 3, Athlon 3000. RAM: 4GB is the floor, 8GB runs better. Storage: 60GB total, 20GB of it free. Screen at 1280 x 1024 or sharper. One USB 3.0 port. Certain programs ask for a second monitor. Your connection: Ethernet cable from your PC to the router. Wi-Fi is not permitted on any program. Speed floor is 10 down and 3 up. Run a free check at speedtest.net before applying. Not permitted: satellite, 5G home service, phone hotspots, USB modems. Not permitted: VPN or proxy software. Your gear: USB headset, plugged in, with clear phone audio. Plug-in keyboard and mouse. A phone with a camera, used only to verify your identity when you log in. You cannot attend class or take calls on a phone. A few programs also ask for a plug-in home phone line. Also: Somewhere quiet to work with no noise behind you. You will go through a background check. We cover the cost. PAY AND CLASSIFICATION You would be working as an independent contractor on a 1099, not as an employee of CamTalk Solutions. We will walk you through everything on our first phone call, so bring your questions.
