Key Responsibilities
- Analyze AWS usage and cost data across applications and environments
- Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities like rightsizing and removing unused resources
- Partner with application teams to recommend cost-efficient architecture and operational improvements
- Review application infrastructure and cloud designs for effective AWS service use
- Create dashboards, reports, and KPIs for cloud spend visibility and anomaly detection
- Promote and support FinOps best practices including tagging standards and forecasting
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services in DevOps, cloud engineering, or architecture
- Solid understanding of AWS cost drivers including EC2, RDS, S3, EKS/ECS, Lambda, networking, and data platforms
- Experience analyzing cloud usage data and turning insights into actionable cost optimization recommendations
- Knowledge of modern application architectures including containers, microservices, and cloud-native deployment

Description We are looking for an analytical and collaborative AWS DevOps professional to help manage, evaluate, and optimize our AWS cloud usage and costs across multiple applications. In this role, you will combine technical AWS knowledge with strong analytical thinking to identify cost optimization opportunities while maintaining performance, scalability, and reliability. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and application teams to influence design and operational decisions, helping build sustainable cloud cost practices over time. You will report to the Director of DevOps.
