Job Purpose Reporting to the Manager, Project Management, the Associate Project Manager will support the Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) by managing small projects with supervision. In addition, this position assists the Project Manager with updating project documentation and managing component schedules for larger projects. Responsibilities Implement established Great Minds processes and procedures in alignment with industry best practices for project management across multiple projects. Create, update, and manage all required project documentation. Create and maintain detailed project plans and schedules in Smartsheet with dependencies. Document and manage project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Manage change requests, with supervision, including documentation of required scope changes and negotiating time adjustments as needed. Monitor costs against the project budget and report on variance to stakeholders. Create project specific reports and dashboards. Schedule project meetings. Create project Slack channels. Cultivate strong working relationships with cross-functional professionals throughout the organization. Provide other project support as needed. Requirements 1 year of experience working on cross-functional projects Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PPT), Microsoft SharePoint, or other similar collaboration software Effective analytical and interpersonal communication skills Experience with project management principles and, ideally, Smartsheet or similar project management software Sound organizational habits, necessary for successful goal setting, collaborative problem solving, deadline execution, and record keeping Ability to manage activities for multiple projects simultaneously Ability to demonstrate personal accountability, urgency, and persistence in completing high-quality work Ability to promote a supportive environment across departments Ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude under tight timelines and with multiple competing priorities Success working independently and collaboratively Ability to remain flexible in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment Receptive to feedback with a focus on reflective practice Commitment to high standards and continuous improvement Willingness to bring a proactive problem-solving orientation to every task Passion for and commitment to the importance of high-quality, knowledge-rich curriculum Deep belief that every child is capable of greatness Preferred Qualifications Experience working with metrics to develop charts and graphs Experience working with curriculum content or educational publishing Required Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Status Full-time Location Remote The expected base salary range for this position is $62,000-$69,000, however the offered salary may be higher or lower than the above range dependent on numerous factors including, but not limited to location, work experience, skills and internal equity considerations. The base salary is not inclusive of benefits or other incentives. A cover letter and resume are required to be considered for this position.
