About GameChanger We believe in the life changing impact youth sports have on and off the field. Sports encourage leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and confidence – important life lessons that have the power to propel our youth toward meaningful futures. We recognize that without coaches, parents, and volunteers, organized youth sports could not exist. By building the first and best place to experience the youth sports moments important to our community, we are helping families elevate the next generation through youth sports. So if you love sports and their community building potential, or building cool products is your sport, GameChanger is the team for you. We are a remote-first, dynamic tech company based in New York City, and we are solving some of the biggest challenges in youth sports today. The Position: We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to own the end-to-end design process on our Stats & Insights team, where we're focused on helping coaches, parents, and players get more value out of the game data we capture. The role demands creative problem solving, excellent execution, and the ambition to take projects from start to finish. You're a critical thinker with an innovative approach to making complex data and systems simple enough for anyone to understand and use. You must be energized by achieving ambitious goals alongside teammates in product, engineering, and marketing. What You'll Do: - Lead the end-to-end design process and ship features across mobile and web platforms. - Collaborate with cross-functional team members to influence the product from conception to execution through a user-centered approach. - Use AI tools throughout your design process — from concepting and prototyping to identifying repeatable workflows worth automating. - Speak with customers frequently, collect data, test prototypes, and translate research insights into meaningful outcomes. - Facilitate design sprints and workshops to develop high-quality solutions. - Craft intuitive design flows, sketches, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for mobile and web. - Help evolve and grow the design practice at GameChanger. Contribute to our design system, be vocal in design critiques, share inspirational resources, and aid in brainstorms. - Question the status quo and advocate for change. Who You Are: - You've demonstrated the ability to rapidly build fluency in an unfamiliar domain through user research. - You have real knowledge of and personal investment in sports either as a fan or player. Particularly valuable for this role given the team's focus, though not required if the above is strong. - You've integrated AI tools into your design workflow for research synthesis, rapid concepting, prototyping, or exploring solutions faster than traditional methods allow. - You've been designing user-centered experiences for at least 5 years. - You’ve designed and shipped multiple native iOS and Android experiences and understand the unique interaction patterns, constraints, and opportunities of mobile design. - Your portfolio isn't just high-fidelity mockups; it showcases impact, process, sketches, collaboration, and reflection. You have at least two detailed case studies. - You've taken large problems and broken them down into bite-sized measurable chunks. - You have experience conducting user research, facilitating user interviews and user tests, digging through data, and synthesizing findings to identify trends and make recommendations. - You advocate for design by articulating and presenting the rationale behind your ideas. - You care about moving your team forward and look for ways to positively impact the team. - You're focused on results and constantly looking to improve the user experience. - You take the time to seek out and provide meaningful feedback because you know it's the best way to grow. - You are self-aware and humble. Bonus Points: - You have experience designing for data-heavy products — turning raw information into something people can act on. - You've helped other designers or teams adopt AI tools effectively, and you're excited about shaping how a design team matures its AI practice. Perks: - Work remotely throughout the US* or from our well-furnished, modern office in Manhattan, NY. - Unlimited vacation policy. - Paid volunteer opportunities. - Technology stipend - $4,000 every 2 years after your start to make sure you have the latest and greatest technology. - WFH stipend - $500 annually to make your WFH situation comfortable. - Monthly physical, mental, wellness & learning stipend offered through Holisticly. - Monthly lifestyle stipend offered through Fringe. - Full health benefits - medical, dental, vision, prescription, FSA, HRA, HSA, and coverage for family/dependents. - Retirement savings - Traditional and Roth 401K plans are offered through Vanguard, with an immediate company match. - Life insurance - basic life, supplemental life, and dependent life. - Disability leave - short-term disability and long-term disability. - Company paid parental leave - up to 20 weeks for birthing parents and up to 12 weeks for non-birthing parents. - Family building benefits offered through Progyny. - DICK'S Sporting Goods and their family of brands teammate discount. The target salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $160,000. This is part of a total compensation package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We constantly review all teammate pay to ensure a great compensation package that is fair and equal across the board. * DICK'S Sporting Goods has company-wide practices to monitor and protect the company from significant compliance and monetary implications as it pertains to employer state tax liabilities.
