We are looking for a mature, independent and solution-oriented Senior Financial Manager to join our growing team at AI Digital. We are seeking a professional who is able to balance both company and employee interests while making sound, business-driven decisions. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong ownership, adaptability and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. Time zone: CET. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, and banking activities. Maintain, optimize, and enhance the company's financial tech stack and integrations (e.g., Rippling, Bill.com ) to improve operational efficiency. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards. Coordinate, support and review the work of junior and mid-level finance team members, providing guidance and quality assurance. Own the month-end close process, including journal entry reviews, accruals, reconciliations and variance analysis. Support budgeting and forecasting by consolidating data, validating inputs and preparing financial reports. Monitor financial controls, identify risks or process gaps and implement corrective actions where needed. Prepare documentation and support internal and external audit processes. Standardize and improve financial processes, documentation, and workflows across the finance function. Serve as the escalation point for complex financial matters while mentoring junior team members. Identify opportunities to automate and optimize financial processes to improve efficiency, accuracy and scalability. Demonstrate strong ownership, adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving. 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting or financial management, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and internal controls. Hands-on experience with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. Proficiency with financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks or similar ERP platforms) and advanced Google Sheets skills. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Upper-intermediate English (B2 or higher) with strong written communication skills. Bonus Points (Preferred but Not Required): Experience with NetSuite (preferred ERP system). Industry experience in IT, AdTech or other digital-first companies (experience in other industries is also welcome). Russian language proficiency.
