We're looking for a talented commercial transactions attorney to join our team to support our commercial business in the United Kingdom & Ireland with flexibility to support in other EMEA countries too. In this role, you will work with the sales team, internal business partners, and other Legal team members to review and respond to requests from current and prospective customers. As a valued member of this team, you will further grow your already existing hands-on experience drafting and negotiating a variety of customer and partner agreements and while performing matrix management across cross-functional teams. Your future team Atlassian's Legal Team is seen within Atlassian as an impactful business partner, serving our business with practical and business-oriented advice and solutions. Our team is highly collaborative and supportive - we love working with each other and are generous in cheering on our teammates successes. You will report directly to the Senior Director, Head of Commercial Legal EMEA Region. Within that team, your focus will be to support the UKI region and where needed other countries. You will have lots of opportunity to work closely with other colleagues in EMEA and globally, both on the day job and on project work. In this role, you'll get to: Be an active part of our Commercial Legal Team, which supports Atlassian's enterprise sales business. Negotiate enterprise cloud and license agreements for Atlassian's products and services, including master services agreements. Work in a tech forward legal team Partner and collaborate with other teams, such as sales, deal desk, partner & alliances, privacy, risk and compliance, security, finance, accounting, and product teams to facilitate contract reviews and internal process improvement, and development and enhancement of our customer-facing forms. Providing pragmatic, business-minded guidance on contract-related issues. Developing support materials and providing trainings to educate our direct sales and channel teams on contract terms and other legal issues. Build trusted relationships with our sales colleagues in the region, being extremely curious about our company's business priorities and proactive in suggesting solutions. Advise business and corporate functions in the region in close collaboration with our specialist teams in the U.S. and EMEA. Contribute to projects improving contract processes and sales enablement. More about you: You like to work in a team and build relationships with sales teams and have a track record doing so. You take ownership and accomplish tasks seeking appropriate support. You bring empathy and understanding to your conversations with customers and clients, creating a path forward that balances company risk and customer needs. You enjoy negotiating and closing deals in a collaborative spirit, and you don't use a rigid approach. You are not afraid to say "I don't know" and you ask many questions. You enjoy working remotely and you enjoy taking up new responsibilities and work autonomously and in a multicultural team. You think creatively beyond the "legal" box to offer solutions for the business. You are curious about AI, working with AI tooling, and legal aspects
