We are looking for a QA Engineer who understands how to ensure the quality of a product that is changing very fast. ABOUT THE ROLE - Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases for different platforms like Android, iOS, and Web including backend systems ( APIs) - Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities for the sprint - Collaborate with developers and product managers to deliver the highest quality with each release - Communicate using synchronous and asynchronous channels to collaborate effectively - Passionate about QA , always hungry to find bugs REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE - Self Starter, willing to go a extra mile for teams cause - 3 - 5 years experience with functional testing - At least 3 years of experience in mobile application testing(Android/iOS) - Good understanding of backend systems , should be able to test APIs as well - Experienced in creating use/test cases out of user stories - Experienced in executing QA strategies for large scale web and mobile applications - Experience of working with Agile software development process - Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment and with geographically distributed teams - Well experienced in implementation of Shift left testing. HOW WE DEFINE SUCCESS: - Completion of all testing activities for features and other deliverables within reasonable timelines - Building documentation of product test cases and suites and maintaining release plans for multiple products - Hunger to learn and grow - Flexibility and adaptability NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT MANDATORY: - Worked in a product company before - Knowledge of latest industry trends including effective use AI systems in testing Novo values diversity as a core tenant of the work we do and the businesses we serve.
