Build the systems behind airCFO's AI-powered accounting platform, including a retrieval/RAG context layer over all tools and internal apps used by teams daily. Work with TypeScript, Node, Python/FastAPI, React, Postgres, Claude + MCP to develop production-ready systems. Report to a hands-on fractional CTO in a small team with high autonomy, remote worldwide within UTC-8 to UTC+2.

Requirements
- Senior engineering experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Python

- Familiarity with retrieval/RAG or AI agent systems
- Ability to work autonomously in a small team

We want someone senior who drives coding agents hard but refuses to lose the plot — clean architecture and a real mental model of the whole system. Production RAG/agents a plus, not a requirement.
