Development and Operations Engineer I

Automate and maintain AWS production systems for scalability and security

Automate, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud-based production systems to ensure availability, performance, scalability, and security. Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines across environments using GitHub Actions, Harness IO, AWS CodeBuild, and AWS CodePipeline. Manage source code and package repositories such as GitHub and Artifactory, and troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues in AWS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automate deployment and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production systems
  • Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines across environments using GitHub Actions, Harness IO, AWS CodeBuild, and AWS CodePipeline
  • Manage source code and package repositories including GitHub and Artifactory
  • Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues in AWS environments
  • Create and manage Terraform templates and deployment processes
  • Use Python with AWS Boto3 SDK for automation tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 1 year of experience in DevOps concepts focused on CI/CD and pipeline management
  • Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, and DynamoDB
  • Experience with Python programming using AWS Boto3 SDK
  • Experience creating and managing Terraform templates
  • Experience with CloudFormation templates

May telecommute. Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Development and Operations Engineer I-related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: Experience supporting DevOps concepts focused on CI/CD and pipeline management. (using git, creating workflows, deploying to multiple environments, etc) Experience with AWS management (EC2, S3, Dynamo, etc). Experience with Python programming using AWS Boto3 SDK. Experience with creating and managing terraform templates and deployment processes. Experience using Cloudformation, creating and managing templates. Pay range for this role is $102,232.00-$125,618.00, with actual pay based on work location, job-related skills, experience and education. Role incl. variable pay and comprehensive benefits.
