Key Responsibilities

  • Publish content across Minor League Baseball’s X, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts
  • Write and edit captions with the official voice of Minor League Baseball

  • Execute project plans to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks
  • Generate and provide timely updates in the form of reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with manager and stakeholders to support business needs

Requirements

  • 4 year degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business or related field OR equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good editorial judgment
  • Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and syntax
  • Experience working on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Reddit preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of Minor League Baseball, its clubs and players

The Coordinator, Social Editorial is a member of the Social Media team and is primarily responsible for publishing content to Minor League Baseball’s official social media accounts. This role requires the flexibility to be available nights and weekends throughout the year. Responsibilities Publishes content across Minor League Baseball’s portfolio of X, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts Works in tandem with various other verticals of the social media department to ensure best practices are followed Writes and edits captions with the mindset of the messaging coming from the official voice of Minor League Baseball Covers day-to-day baseball storylines as well as works with other segments of the Social Media team to ideate content for jewel events Works to specialize content to fit each individual social media platform Executes against project plans to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks Collaborates with manager and stakeholders to support business needs Generates and provides timely and accurate updates in the form of reports, presentations, etc. Communicates in a clear and concise manner that is easy to understand Qualifications & Skills 4 year degree from an accredited university in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or related field, OR equivalent relevant experience Demonstrated ability to exercise good editorial judgment Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and syntax Experience working on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Reddit preferred Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment Strong understanding of baseball (Minor League Baseball, its clubs and players) is essential Interest and general understanding of prospects & college players who may make an impact in the Minor Leagues/Major Leagues in the future Pay Range: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour The actual offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors MLB considers relevant to the hiring decision.
