Admin Import Export Compliance (can be remote)

Beverly, Massachusetts (United States) Overview You will support Axcelis' global trade compliance program from Beverly, MA, handling daily import/export tasks and collaborating with internal teams to ensure regulatory adherence. You will work with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders to classify products, manage records, and screen for denied parties and end-uses. The role emphasizes process rigor, cross-functional partnership, and continuous improvement of compliance practices. Compensation / Benefits comprehensive benefits package Axcelis Team Incentive bonus plan remote or local to Beverly, MA career growth opportunities Responsibilities Handle daily import/export transactional tasks Interface with freight forwarders, customs officers, brokers, and customers on regulatory matters Provide product information for HTS classifications, ECCN, and country of origin Manage import/export recordkeeping per regulations and company policy Screen partners for Denied Persons, restricted end-uses, antiboycott, and diversion risks Act as liaison with internal departments on regulatory and duty matters Conduct internal audits and assess compliance across business lifecycle Evaluate new government requirements and update day-to-day operations Identify compliance gaps and propose management recommendations Collaborate with Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, IT, and Engineering to develop procedures Provide training on compliance topics as needed Support FTAs and duty-savings programs, including certificates of origin Key requirements Two years of Global Regulatory Compliance or related experience Proven product classification experience (CCL, HTSUS, Schedule B) Strong problem solving and computer skills Self-starter with leadership qualities Excellent Microsoft Office skills including SharePoint leadership problem solving cross-functional collaboration HTS classifications ECCN country of origin determinations
