A notice period is the advance warning you must give before leaving a job — often 30 days — so your employer has time to plan for your departure.
The length is set in your contract. In Indonesia, resigning employees are generally expected to give at least 30 days' written notice. Leaving without serving notice can affect your final pay and your professional reference, so plan your transition around it.
