DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the development, automation, and optimization of our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and scalability of our applications, supporting the companys mission to deliver innovative solutions in the Retail-Tech industry. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure solutions using tools like Terraform or Ansible . Build scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments, primarily on AWS . CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process across multiple environments. Monitor and improve pipeline efficiency and reliability. Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the SDLC. Collaborate with QA teams to automate testing and ensure high-quality releases. Monitoring & Optimization: Implement and manage monitoring tools like Prometheus , Grafana , or ELK Stack to ensure system health and performance. Continuously optimize infrastructure and applications for cost and performance. Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and policies (e.g., ISO, GDPR). Qualifications: Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or related fields. Proven experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (e.g., EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS). Technical Skills: Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform , CloudFormation , or Ansible . Strong experience in scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python , Bash , or Go ). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins , GitLab CI , or Bitbucket . Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes . Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools ( Prometheus , Grafana , ELK Stack ). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams. Self-motivated and eager to stay updated on DevOps trends and technologies. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer , CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) , or equivalent. Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
