The Role Key Responsibilities Design and manage OpenShift / Kubernetes platforms in enterprise environments Develop and maintain automation solutions using Ansible (playbooks, roles, automation frameworks) Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD) Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices (Terraform, Ansible) Support and optimize the application lifecycle (build, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot) Execute advanced troubleshooting and performance optimization activities Ensure compliance with security, reliability, and operational standards Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices and automation strategies Client Engagement & Consult Approach Interact directly with clients in technical discussions and delivery activities Understand business and technical requirements and translate them into solutions Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions within the team Support workshops, onboarding, and DevOps adoption initiatives Apply a consultative approach to deliver value and improve client environments Team Collaboration Work in cross-functional Agile teams (Dev, Ops, Cloud, Security, Architecture) Collaborate on solutioning, delivery, and problem resolution Share knowledge and contribute to team capability growth (non-formal mentoring) Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and delivery processes. Who You Are Required Technical Skills OpenShift, Kubernetes, Containers, Docker Ansible, Automation, Configuration Management DevOps, CI/CD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Terraform, Ansible Cloud Computing - AWS, Azure, Google Cloud (GCP) Linux / Unix systems administration Scripting (Bash, Python) Monitoring & logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) Git / Version Control Systems Agile, Scrum, DevOps culture Professional & Soft Skills Strong consulting mindset (Consult approach) Effective client communication and stakeholder interaction Ability to work independently while contributing to team delivery Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ownership and accountability in technical activities Adaptability in complex and dynamic environments Experience & Education 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Automation, or Cloud Engineering Hands-on experience with Ansible and OpenShift/Kubernetes environments Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience Relevant certifications (Red Hat, Kubernetes, Cloud) are a plus. The position will be governed by the Italian National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees of the Metalworking Industry (Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per i dipendenti dell'Industria Metalmeccanica e della Installazione di Impianti), with classification as Impiegato. The employment contract may be offered as a permanent employment contract (contratto a tempo indeterminato). The starting salary for this position in Kyndryl Italia Innovation Services is € 32.890,00 based on a full-time schedule at the time of posting. Your final compensation offer may vary depending on several factors such as, geographical tier, job-related skills, education and experience that selected candidates bring to the team.
