Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with experience in Python building backend services and integrations, within digital marketing, marketing automation, or SEM-related environments . The role will involve connecting internal systems with advertising and marketing platforms, working with APIs, processing marketing and campaign data, and supporting reliable automation workflows. Experience with Python is highly valued, although strong backend engineers working with comparable languages and technologies are also encouraged to apply. Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer or in a similar software engineering role Professional experience with Python Experience building and maintaining third-party API integrations Experience with marketing automation, digital advertising, SEM, MarTech, or AdTech integrations Familiarity integrating with platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta Ads , or similar marketing and advertising ecosystems Experience working with campaign, conversion, attribution, keyword, or performance marketing data Strong proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL Experience with caching systems such as Redis Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms Practical knowledge of using AI in the daily development workflow, with tools such as Claude Code or Codex Ability to design backend workflows for automating marketing processes, synchronizing data, and handling scheduled or event-driven integrations Experience using Datadog or other monitoring and observability tools Knowledge of messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka; hands-on experience is a plus Strong English communication skills - Minimum B2 level proficiency Send your application and CV in English (mandatory) Based in Latin America Benefits: Remote work Flexible schedule Collaboration with international clients USD compensation Paid Holidays and Vacations Paid family and sick leaves English classes Educational and wellness bonus Structured career plan with regular salary reviews Emphasis on personal growth and mentorship Are you ready to be part of the ioet journey?
