Rive Designer & Animator | Mobile App Onboarding

We're a consumer mobile app (React Native) looking for a Rive specialist to own our onboarding experience end-to-end — from illustration through to production-ready, interactive .riv files. This is a design and animation role: you draw the assets and bring them to life. Scope Design/illustrate the visual assets for a multi-screen onboarding sequence Build them as interactive Rive animations driven by state machines, not just looping playback — they should respond to user progress and choices Deliver integration-ready .riv files for a React Native app (rive-react-native runtime) You need A Rive portfolio showing real interactivity: state machines, inputs/triggers, nested artboards, responsive layouts. After Effects → Lottie loops don't count here. The ability to both illustrate and animate — we want one owner of the visual + motion, no handoff seams Production experience shipping Rive in live mobile apps (iOS/Android), ideally inside React Native A grip on mobile performance: file size, runtime cost, render budget Deliverables Source .riv files + source art Documented state machine inputs so our RN engineer can wire them up without reverse-engineering your work A reasonable revision round Nice to have First-run / onboarding UX experience Prior collaboration with RN developers To apply: send a portfolio with at least one genuinely interactive Rive piece, and a sentence or two on how you'd build an onboarding flow that adapts to what the user picks.
