Infrastructure Software Engineer, AI & Data Security (Contract, Argentina)

Now, we are aggressively expanding MIRA to cover the entire loan file — automating income, assets, and credit analysis — to create a holistic underwriting utility for the industry. THE ROLE This is a mixed Software Engineering and Infrastructure role at the intersection of AI and data security. As we expand MIRA across the entire loan file, our hardest challenges shift from model building to the infrastructure needed to securely develop, test and run AI systems. You'll drive that infrastructure. It's a backend engineering role where you will work in application code as well as in Terraform/AWS with a security-first mindset. WHAT YOU'LL DO Plan, design, and build - Secure infrastructure for AI-assisted development and testing - Data-access security across the platform - Cross-cutting application features You will manage your own projects, communicating designs, plans, and status updates proactively. We work in Go, Python, and TypeScript with a focus on reliability and observability. WHAT YOU'LL BRING • Strong backend software engineering experience • A security-first mindset: you naturally consider data access and potential leak vectors for every process, person, and agent. • Genuine interest in AI/LLM systems and the infrastructure that makes them safe and reliable to build on • Experience and/or a strong interest in working at the infrastructure level with Terraform, AWS, GCP etc • The ability to take an ambiguous, hard problem from design doc to production • Strong verbal and written communication in English BONUS POINTS • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and observability tooling (e.g. Datadog) • Experience designing infrastructure on AWS — isolation/sandboxing, networking, and the primitives that keep systems secure under real load • Residence in Rosario or Buenos Aires (Residence in Argentina is mandatory) WHAT WE'LL OFFER YOU • A competitive salary in USD • A high degree of autonomy and ownership of your work • Support for your professional goals and learning within and beyond the company, through your manager and peers NOTES Recruiter and AI submissions will be rejected.
