Creator Growth Strategist (Contract)

Patreon is a media and community platform where over 300,000 creators give their biggest fans access to exclusive work and experiences. We offer creators a variety of ways to engage with their fans and build a lasting business including: paid memberships, free memberships, community chats, live video, and selling to fans directly with one-time purchases. Ultimately our goal is simple: fund the creative class. And we're leaders in that space, with: - $10 billion+ generated by creators since Patreon's inception - 100 million+ free memberships for fans who may not be ready to pay just yet, and - 25 million+ paid memberships on Patreon today. We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator platform with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Creator Growth Strategist (Contract) to support our mission. This role is remote on a ~20 hour/week contract basis. ABOUT THE TEAM Creator Growth exists to help Patreon's creators build sustainable, growing businesses on the platform. We work across scaled programming and 1:1 strategic support, meeting creators where they are — from their first fan to their biggest year yet. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a part-time Creator Growth Strategist to help scale a 1:1 growth consults program supporting small and medium sized creators. You'll run one-time strategic growth consults, helping creators walk away with clear, tactical next steps for growing their business on Patreon. For ~20 hours a week, you'll own follow-up to make sure that advice gets acted on, run a recurring outreach cadence to keep the pipeline full, and help pilot new formats for 1:1 support as the program scales. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Experience in a creator-facing, customer success, or SMB advising role, or equivalent experience - A track record of advising creators or small businesses on growth, with measurable results - The ability to quickly understand a creator’s business and offer tangible, tactical recommendations on the spot - Strong attention to detail and follow-through; you'll be tracking consults, outreach, and follow-up across a growing pipeline - Strong presence on video calls and a customer-success mentality; you treat every creator's growth as your own win - Comfort owning a high-volume calendar directly (including renegotiating conflicts) while keeping each interaction feeling personal, not transactional - Comfort operating in an ambiguous, evolving program and adapting to new formats as they're piloted - Fluency with CRM/outreach tools (Salesforce, Airtable, or equivalent) BONUS IF YOU HAVE - Experience at a creator platform, MCN, or creator-focused startup - Experience advising SMB or small business owners on growth We hire talented and passionate people from different backgrounds because workplace diversity and inclusion is critical to our ability to serve creators worldwide. In compliance with New York and California pay transparency laws, we are sharing the expected salary range for this role. The posted salary range is dependent on the location and the level. This range may encompass multiple levels within the role’s job family. The final offer will be based on candidate’s experience, skills, competencies, and geographic location, aligning with the appropriate job level within Patreon’s leveling framework.
