The Learning & Development Department provides and coordinates learning opportunities accessible to diverse MSF contexts. As part of its AI vision, the department is exploring innovative solutions to improve access to training content and support personalized learning pathways for MSF staff. The AI Learning Solutions Intern will actively contribute to the design, development, configuration, and testing of AI-enabled learning solutions, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbots, AI-assisted knowledge retrieval systems, and personalized learning recommendation tools based on skills, profiles, and learning needs. The intern will contribute to the technical implementation and continuous improvement of AI-supported learning services in collaboration with L&D, IT and other business stakeholders. Learning Outcomes By the end of the internship, the intern is expected to: Gain practical experience in the design and implementation of AI-enabled learning and knowledge management solutions. Develop hands-on skills in RAG application development, knowledge retrieval workflows, prompt engineering and AI response evaluation. Understand the design and implementation of AI-powered recommendation systems for personalized learning experiences. Strengthen analytical and technical skills related to data organization, testing, and user-centered solution development. Learn how to collaborate in a cross-functional and international environment involving L&D, IT and other business stakeholders. Understand how AI solutions are designed, tested and governed within a humanitarian organization Tasks and responsibilities Contribute to the development, configuration, and testing of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbots and AI-assisted knowledge retrieval systems.
