ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Mobile Test Automation Engineer at Freetrade, you will be a key contributor to ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will focus on building and executing automated tests using modern tools and frameworks, with a particular emphasis on end-to-end platform testing and stable releases. - Develop and integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to support functional, integration, and regression testing. - Build and maintain native mobile test automation scripts within our existing frameworks. - Identify, analyse, and document defects, functional discrepancies, UI issues, and data inconsistencies with precision. - Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to provide testing feedback and help improve product quality. - Contribute to the team’s knowledge base, staying up-to-date with best practices and supporting the overall quality culture. ABOUT YOU: - You've implemented comprehensive mobile test approaches, writing detailed test cases, and evaluating results to ensure features are production-ready. - Experience conducting functional testing across the stack, including integration, UI, regression, and REST/GraphQL API testing. - Maintained and expanded automated test suites, using industry-standard tools such asAppium and Browserstack. - Written clean, readable, and maintainable test code and validation scripts in TypeScript. - Executed tests within CircleCI pipelines and supported shift-left initiatives to catch bugs early in the development cycle. OUR HYBRID MODEL We work from our central London and Budapest offices on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, leaving Wednesday and Friday for dedicated focus time at home. We believe in the power of in-person collaboration to build a strong culture, but we know "life happens."
