On behalf of FEELD, GT is looking for a Manual Mobile QA Engineer interested in dating domain. ABOUT THE CLIENT & THE PROJECT At FEELD, they are creating a world where everyone is more intimately connected to each other and themselves. They are building an inclusive, human-centered product and are looking for a Manual QA to join their remote team and their mission to elevate the human experience of sexuality and relationships. As a Manual QA at FEELD, you will ensure their mobile applications meet the highest quality standards. Your primary focus will be on enhancing our manual QA processes, particularly for feature-specific tasks and writing manual test cases. You will be critical in release management, ensuring that each sprint's output is rigorously tested. HOW YOU WILL GROW: - Gain deep expertise in mobile QA processes and tools. - Develop leadership skills by driving quality initiatives within the team. - Learn to integrate manual and automated testing strategies effectively. - Understand the intricacies of user experience in the context of human-centered product development. - Enhance your problem-solving and analytical abilities in a dynamic, remote environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Refresh and update our regression and feature-specific tickets, ensuring they accurately reflect our current application state. - Develop and execute manual test cases, focusing on expanding our regression pack in BrowserStack. - Triage and prioritize issues in Jira, ensuring timely resolution. - Work closely with engineers to understand new features and create corresponding test plans. - Monitor key platform vitals in Sentry, proactively identifying potential issues. - Foster a quality-first approach and a sense of ownership within the Product Engineering team. - Define critical smoke tests and gradually expand test coverage. - Collaborate with 3rd party automation team to align manual and automated testing efforts. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: - You have 5+ years of experience in mobile-focused QA, with a track record of enhancing test processes. - You possess deep knowledge of iOS and Android platforms, including intricacies like deep links, notifications, and local storage. - You are proficient in using BrowserStack for cross-device testing, test case management and visibility. - You have strong skills in defining and managing comprehensive regression packs. - You are familiar with error-tracking tools like Sentry and similar analytics tools. - You have experience with Jira for issue tracking and sprint management. - You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - You have excellent communication and leadership skills to drive ownership and collaboration. - Your English level is Advanced/Fluent BONUS POINTS: - You are familiar with tools like Appium, Jest, Charles, Proxyman, and Postman. - You have the ability to extract insights from stack traces and error logs. - You have exposure to and understanding of non-functional testing.
