Work from home (WFH) means doing your job from your residence instead of commuting to an office, using a computer and internet connection.
WFH is a specific location arrangement: your home is your workplace. It can be permanent, occasional, or a temporary policy. It is often used interchangeably with 'remote', but strictly it names the place (home), while remote names the setup (away from the office).
