Children's Content Producer

TrueShort is one of the fastest-growing streaming platforms in the United States, producing and releasing original series across animation, live action, and emerging AI-native formats. This role will focus on GoodWatch, our kids and family division dedicated to creating educational, entertaining, and story-driven content for children. Our goal is to build the next generation of beloved kids’ franchises while helping children explore topics like nature, science, history, technology, ecosystems, insects, machines, and more. We’re looking for a creative producer who can take a series from concept to finished video. What You’ll Do You will own the development and production of educational children’s content from idea generation through final delivery. • Use AI tools and language models to brainstorm and develop new series concepts • Research educational topics including ecosystems, animals, insects, machines, science, geography, history, and more • Present multiple concepts, characters, and episode ideas for approval • Create memorable characters and work with our reference designer to establish the visual identity of each series • Develop series bibles, season concepts, episode outlines, and scripts • Revise scripts based on feedback • Use to generate video content from approved scripts • Review outputs and iterate as needed • Edit videos to improve pacing, continuity, and overall quality • Add captions and final polish in CapCut • Deliver finished episodes ready for release Ideal Candidate • Strong storytelling and writing skills • Experience creating content for children, families, or educational audiences • Comfortable using AI tools as part of a creative workflow • Experience with video editing (CapCut preferred) • Able to manage projects independently from concept through final delivery • Passion for creating content that children genuinely enjoy Compensation $25/hr+ To Apply Please include: A brief introduction Any AI tools you’ve used as part of your creative workflow A short example of how you would turn one of the following topics into a children’s series:
