Project: Full Website Redesign for Building Blocks Facades Reference: Engagement Type: Freelance / Project-Based with ongoing engagement About the Project Building Blocks Facades (BBF) requires a complete website redesign that repositions the company as a technology and manufacturing enterprise, not a traditional construction subcontractor. The design reference is : full-screen video hero sections, minimal high-contrast typography, dark industrial aesthetic, scroll-triggered content reveals, and a visual language that communicates precision and scale. The new site must communicate at the level of a technology company seeking investment and enterprise clients -- not a trade contractor marketing to GCs. Scope of Work Full redesign of (approximately 10-12 pages) Homepage with full-screen video hero and scroll-triggered section reveals Product/capability pages for GFRC, UHPC, and SIMPlex platform About, Team, Projects, and Contact pages Mobile-first responsive design SEO-optimized structure and metadata Integration of existing brand film and video assets Handoff of all source files and CMS access Required Technical Skills Design Figma -- professional UI/UX design, component libraries, auto-layout, prototyping Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator -- asset creation and image treatment Demonstrated ability to design to a reference aesthetic without copying it -- you must be able to translate the visual system into BBF's identity AI-Assisted Design Workflow Adobe Firefly or Midjourney -- AI-generated image assets, texture generation, site visuals Framer AI -- if proposing Framer as the build platform, must demonstrate production-level proficiency ChatGPT / Claude for content generation and SEO copywriting integration is acceptable and encouraged Development Proficiency in at least one of the following build platforms: Framer, Webflow, or custom Next.js For Webflow: CMS setup, interactions, animations, responsive breakpoints For Framer: component-based layout, scroll animations, CMS collections For Next.js: React component architecture, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion for animations, headless CMS integration (Sanity or Contentful preferred) GSAP (GreenSock) for scroll-triggered animations if building custom Video background optimization for web (HLS streaming, lazy loading, performance-conscious implementation) Performance and Technical Standards Lighthouse score of 90+ on desktop, 80+ on mobile Core Web Vitals compliance Schema markup and structured data for SEO Proper video compression and delivery pipeline (not raw MP4 dumps) What We Are Looking For Portfolio that includes at least one completed dark, video-driven, technology or industrial brand website comparable in ambition to Ability to handle both design and development, or demonstrated experience managing the handoff between the two if proposing a team Comfort writing or editing technical marketing copy with AI assistance Understanding of how to position a B2B industrial company as a technology enterprise To Apply Submit the following: Portfolio links showing relevant website work Recommended build platform and brief rationale Proposed sitemap and rough timeline Rate structure (flat project fee preferred over hourly)
