Unreal Engine 5 UI Developer (UMG / Blueprint)

Freelance / Contract – Short Term – Remote Budget: Up to $3,000/month About the Role We are currently in the development phase of an application built in Unreal Engine 5 and are looking for a highly skilled UE5 UI Developer to implement our finalized UI/UX designs. This is a short-term freelance contract role focused strictly on UI implementation. All UI/UX designs are already completed — your responsibility will be bringing them to life inside Unreal using UMG and Blueprint. Responsibilities Implement high-quality UI screens using UMG in Unreal Engine 5 Accurately translate provided UI/UX designs into functional, responsive interfaces Build UI systems for both mobile and desktop Create UI animations, transitions, and interactive elements Connect UI to backend logic using Blueprint (UI-layer logic only) Maintain clean, scalable widget structure and naming conventions Optimize UI for performance across target platforms Required Qualifications Proven professional experience with Unreal Engine 5 Extensive experience with UMG Strong Blueprint skills (focused on UI implementation; limited backend logic) At least: Demonstrated ability to ship polished UI in production projects Strong understanding of responsive layout and resolution scaling Clean, organized Blueprint architecture practices Important This role is strictly UI implementation. We are not looking for designers. We are not looking for general Unreal developers without strong UI experience. Portfolio is required for consideration.
