We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to lead the MVP design of Operon Assist — a mobile execution layer inside a larger business platform. Operon Assist automatically captures and validates real-world operational events using geofence triggers and vehicle detection. It is not a manual timesheet app. It is a rule-based operational validation engine presented through a clean, intuitive mobile experience. For this MVP phase, the design scope is focused on two core intelligence pillars: Geofence-based shift validation Vehicle detection and driver/passenger role confirmation The system operates in a passive-first mode. It detects context automatically (location, vehicle proximity, schedule alignment) and prompts the user only when action or confirmation is required. You will design flows for: • Shift start detection (early / late scenarios) • Confirmation logic (Start now vs Log as scheduled) • Lightweight reason/comment capture • Variance visibility and transparency • Vehicle detection prompts (Are you the driver?) • Multi-user vehicle scenarios (driver conflict resolution) • Contextual Work Order prompts triggered by location or vehicle detection • In-app event feed and smart notification hierarchy • Pause / complete suggestions when leaving a site Notifications are reserved for high-signal, action-required events such as: Shift confirmation Driver role confirmation Assigned work order available at detected location Significant variance detection Silent logging and contextual in-app cards should be used where no immediate action is required. This role requires someone comfortable designing state-driven, rule-based systems — not just static screens. You will be translating automation logic into low-friction, high-trust user experiences. We are looking for: • 3+ years mobile app design experience • Experience with workflow-heavy or B2B SaaS products • Strong systems thinking (state logic, triggers, confirmations) • Ability to design multi-user and role-based flows • Experience with geolocation or proximity-based UX is a strong plus This is an MVP architecture role. You will help define how intelligence behaves on mobile — not just how it looks. We are building structured operational intelligence — and the UX must reflect that clarity.
