Momentum is a Zürich-based digital marketing early-stage startup with a small, agile team. We are looking for an experienced freelance Social Media Manager to join us part-time (~20h/week), with potential for long-term collaboration. ABOUT THE ROLE You will lead social media strategy and execution across both client accounts and Momentum’s internal channels. You will work closely with our team to create engaging content, strengthen brand presence, and grow online communities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Develop and execute social media strategies for client accounts and Momentum’s own channels – Plan, create, and manage content calendars across multiple platforms – Write and coordinate social media content aligned with brand positioning and campaign goals – Manage community engagement and day-to-day platform activity – Monitor performance metrics and provide reporting and actionable recommendations – Collaborate with the internal team on campaigns, messaging, and creative direction – Stay up to date with platform trends, content formats, and best practices REQUIREMENTS – Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management and 3 years in campaign management. – Available to start as soon as possible – Proven experience managing Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other relevant platforms – Strong understanding of content strategy, branding, and audience growth – Excellent writing and communication skills – Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools – Fluent in English; German or French is an advantage – Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously WHAT WE OFFER – Freelance contract: ~20 hours per week, project-based – Competitive hourly rate – Hybrid work model with flexible scheduling – Direct collaboration with a small, entrepreneurial team – Opportunity for a long-term engagement or permanent contract based on performance and company growth
