About the Role We are looking for a creative, self-sufficient Social Media Content Contractor to join our team on a flexible contract basis. In this role, you will travel to various locations to capture authentic, engaging content using your smartphone, then edit and deliver polished short-form video reels and social media advertising assets ready for publishing. This is a hands-on, in-the-field role built for someone who is equally comfortable behind the camera as they are in the editing suite. You thrive in fast-moving environments, can work independently without a production crew, and have a strong eye for what performs on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. Key Responsibilities Travel to designated locations to capture photo and video content on a smartphone (iPhone or Android) Conduct on-camera interviews and conversations with C-suite executives, leadership teams, and employees — representing our brand with professionalism, confidence, and discretion Shoot a variety of content formats including lifestyle, behind-the-scenes, product, experiential, and interview-driven footage Edit and produce short-form video reels (typically 15–90 seconds) optimized for social media platforms Develop paid social advertising assets including video ads formatted for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Apply on-screen text, captions, transitions, music, and sound design in line with brand guidelines Source, repurpose, and edit existing content and video footage from our library to develop new ads and social assets — breathing fresh life into archived material Deliver content within agreed turnaround times, ready for review and publishing Collaborate remotely with our marketing team to align on creative direction, messaging, and campaign goals Provide multiple cuts or format variations of content as needed (e.g., 9:16, 1:1, 16:9) What We're Looking For Proven experience creating short-form video content for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) Strong mobile videography skills — you know how to get great footage on a phone without a full production setup Proficiency in mobile or desktop editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, Final Cut Pro, or similar Experience producing paid social video ads is a strong plus Ability to work with pre-existing footage and brand content libraries to create new, compelling ads — not just shooting from scratch Ability and willingness to travel as needed for content shoots (travel expenses covered) A self-starter who can take a brief and execute with minimal oversight Highly professional demeanor with the ability to engage comfortably and confidently with senior executives, C-suite leaders, and employees at all levels — you can make people feel at ease on camera and represent our brand well in any room Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines reliably A portfolio or reel showcasing short-form social content and/or UGC-style video work
