Introduction John Agger Photography is seeking a skilled freelance designer to create a unique, typography-based wordmark/logotype and a secondary monogram. The design should encapsulate the essence of the business, reflecting simplicity, restraint, and intentional composition. The final product should be versatile enough to be used as a watermark, portfolio mark, emboss, or business card element. Responsibilities Develop a clean and readable typography-based wordmark/logotype for "John Agger Photography". Create a secondary monogram using the initials "JAP" or "JA" that functions independently and maintains clarity at small sizes. Ensure the design avoids aggressive joints, sharp forms, and overly stylized typography while upholding visual balance. Design with reproduction in mind, avoiding overly thin lines and delicate details. Align with the stylistic preferences outlined, emphasizing simplicity and intentional composition. My portfolio at communicates the overall direction: isolated subjects, simplicity, restraint, and intentional composition. I would love for the typography to reflect those same qualities. FWIW, there are some examples of what I’m looking to avoid(!) here: . My current logo is here: . I'm not a fan of it, although it has functioned well as a watermark.
