About Beastly Beastly is a two-sided marketplace connecting advertisers looking for unique, real-world spaces to promote their products with the hosts who own those spaces. Think Airbnb meets out-of-home advertising — we're opening up an entirely new inventory of ad placements that didn't exist before: storefronts, rooftops, driveways, event venues, and beyond. We're pre-launch and moving fast. The product vision is fully defined, the design is done, and we need an exceptional developer to bring it to life. The Role We have a complete UI/UX design in Figma — every screen, every state. Your job is to build it: pixel-perfect, performant, and ready to ship on both web and iOS. There's no prototype, so you'll work directly with our UI/UX designer to interpret the specs, pressure-test interactions, and close the gap between static design and a living product. This is a full-stack engagement, but the emphasis is on a polished, high-fidelity frontend. You'll work closely with the founders and have full visibility into the product. What You'll Build Responsive web app from Figma specs (framework open to discussion) Native iOS app in Swift Backend and API development to support both surfaces Marketplace-specific features: listing creation, search and browse, booking and inquiry flows, dashboards for advertisers and hosts, messaging, and payments integration You're a Strong Fit If You Have shipped production-grade web apps with a strong eye for design fidelity — you care about the details Have delivered at least one native iOS app to the App Store in Swift Are comfortable owning backend and API work alongside frontend delivery Can translate Figma screens into clean, maintainable code independently Work well with designers — you know how to ask the right questions when a spec is ambiguous and advocate for good UX in implementation Are a clear communicator who flags tradeoffs early and moves without hand-holding Have experience with marketplace or two-sided platform products (a plus, not a requirement) Logistics Duration: 2–4 months (with potential to extend and grow relationship into ongoing support & development depending on performance) Engagement: Contract via Contra Hours: Flexible / async-friendly, with regular check-ins Start: ASAP To Apply Share your portfolio or GitHub, and call out any two-sided marketplace, consumer app, or Figma-to-code work that's most relevant. Links to App Store submissions are a strong plus. A brief note on how you approach working from static designs — especially without a prototype — goes a long way.
