Frontend Contractor - Figma / Next.JS / Contentful

Remote contractor. NYC-based team. We’re looking for a design-focused frontend engineer to help us turn high-fidelity Figma files into beautiful, pixel-perfect web experiences across desktop and mobile. You’ll work directly with the founders and design team. Fast feedback, high standards, no bureaucracy. This is a short-term contract role with potential to extend if there’s a strong fit. What you’ll do Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect Next.js pages Build responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile Implement animations, interactions, and visual polish Integrate pages with Contentful CMS Ensure performance, accessibility, and clean component structure Move quickly with tight iteration loops alongside design We’re looking for someone who Has strong experience with Next.js Has a sharp eye for visual detail, spacing, and typography Cares about motion, interaction quality, and polish Is comfortable working directly from Figma without heavy specs Ships quickly and takes pride in clean implementation Is comfortable in a fast, founder-led environment Bonus if you’ve worked on CMS-driven websites (Contentful preferred).
