Editor Wanted: 3-Min Cinematic Mini-Doc (Fully Storyboarded & Organized)

Full Description

Hi, I’m Tai. I’m a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist currently developing a series of cinematic narrative films for founders and organizations. I’m looking for a dedicated creative partner to help me bring a 3–4 minute "mini doc" to life. I’ve spent a lot of time pre-producing this project to ensure the edit is as smooth and focused as possible. I’ve provided a Master Storyboard with specific timestamps, folder organized assets, and a clear narrative arc. This is a highly structured edit designed for a professional to focus purely on the cinematic soul of the piece: the pacing, the J-cuts, and the emotional resonance. The Project & Workflow The film is deeply organized to respect your time and creative focus: Complete VO Script: (3–4 minutes). Narrative Arc: Defined beginning, middle, transformation, and resolution. Detailed Storyboard: Scene-by-scene guidance already mapped out. Organized Assets: Curated footage folders (Travel, Brand, Documentary) with direct links to selects. Your Role Your goal is to elevate the existing structure with intentional pacing and a cohesive visual tone. We are looking for "invisible" editing, letting moments breathe, and focusing on emotional impact over heavy effects. This is not a fast paced social media edit. Technical & Creative Preferences Style: Natural, grounded, and cinematic (minimal transitions; cuts and cross-dissolves only). Visuals: Ability to unify mixed footage (iPhone, campaign, documentary) through subtle color grading and light film grain. Music & Sound: Please source and include high quality royalty free cinematic music (piano/ambient) and layer subtle environmental SFX (ocean/nature) as noted in the storyboard. Timeline & Budget Timeline: 5–7 day turnaround. Budget: $250 Flat Fee. Future: This is a foundational piece for my agency’s portfolio; I am looking for a go-to editor for consistent upcoming work. To Apply Please share 2–3 samples of your best cinematic, documentary, or narrative work and a brief note on how you approach storytelling through pacing. Looking forward to connecting with the right creative partner. Warmly, Tai
