Content Manager Freelance/Part-time in Canada $25.00 - $40.00 / hr About us Brickspace Lab is a small Canadian-based software company. We specializes in creating exceptional ecommerce experiences for brands on Shopify. Over the years we’ve worked with countless clients on design and development projects. In the past couple years we’ve shifted our focus to building premium digital products like our premium Shopify themes. About the role The primary focus of this role will be growing our audience and increasing our reach. We're looking for someone who's fired up about creating content, getting it out there, and tracking its impact across different platforms. As a small team it feels like we often have many great ideas but just don’t have the capacity to execute. That’s where you would come in Ok so what does this actually look like? To start we would want to make sure our existing marketing channels are active - so we’ll be posting to social and actually sending out email updates. We want to make sure we’re engaging our existing customers and followers. Bottom line: we want someone who's pumped about growing sales, building our audience, and isn't afraid to try new things. We want someone who can create an ongoing series and execute them end-to-end. I know this sounds like it could be anything so let me give you some ideas: Conducting team video interviews and clipping them podcast style Interviewing ecommerce founders using our Shopify theme Highlighting cool ecommerce websites using our Shopify themes Share and comment on Shopify news and updates Behind the scenes update from team meetings Sharing top ecommerce designs for inspiration Key responsibilities Film and record content (we also have a good deal of pre filmed content) Edit and handle post production with captions Schedule content across various channels Measure what's working (and what's not) Requirements Canadian/US resident Comfortable in front of a camera Ability to work remote with fast internet Strong English communication skills Excellent writing/photo/video and content creation skills Experience in content marketing or digital marketing roles Experience using ai tools to optimize workflow and output Strong understanding of growth marketing principles and tactics Strong eye for design and what makes a great website Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, preferably Shopify Ability to collaborate with others and work effectively independently Compensation We are hoping to hire for this position as either a freelance role or a part-time internship. With an hourly range from $20-40/hr. Compensation will be negotiable depending on experience and soft skill fit. To start there's an estimated 10-20 hours of work per week.
