Job Summary We are seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff to support two senior leaders: the Head of Global Real Estate and the Head of Global Energy. This role serves as a strategic and operational force multiplier, enabling both leaders to scale impact, drive disciplined execution, and maintain alignment across complex, globally distributed portfolios. The Chief of Staff will operate at the intersection of enterprise strategy, capital-intensive operations, risk management, and organizational effectiveness, translating high-level priorities into cohesive plans while removing friction across teams. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in ambiguity, excels at multi-threaded problem solving, and can seamlessly shift between strategic advising and hands-on execution across two distinct but interdependent functions. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Portfolio Governance - Partner with the Real Estate and Global Energy leaders to shape and refine functional strategies aligned to enterprise priorities. - Translate strategic intent into roadmaps, OKRs, and multi-year investment plans. - Own visibility into cross-functional initiatives and capital portfolios. - Lead annual and quarterly planning and strategy review cycles. Operational Excellence & Execution - Design and maintain effective operating cadences for both leadership teams. - Drive execution discipline, accountability, and decision-making rigor. - Improve cross-functional processes spanning finance, legal, sustainability, and operations. - Build dashboards covering cost, schedule, risk, and performance metrics. - Reinforce governance for capital investments and compliance-sensitive initiatives. Executive Partnership & Leadership Support - Act as a trusted advisor to both leaders on strategy, priorities, and organizational health. - Support preparation for executive and team engagements. - Amplify focus on highest-value work and decision clarity. - Partner with peer Chiefs of Staff across the enterprise. Communication & Stakeholder Management - Develop executive-ready communications and presentations. - Represent leaders in meetings to maintain momentum when needed. - Influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority. - Enable organizational clarity through effective internal communication. Qualifications Required - Significant experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or related leadership roles, typically 10+ years of experience. - Proven success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives. - Strong strategic, analytical, and financial acumen. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to influence and drive outcomes without direct authority. Preferred - MBA or advanced degree in a related field. - Prior Chief of Staff or executive advisory experience. - Exposure to real estate, energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive portfolios. - Experience supporting senior executives or transformation efforts.
