Program Manager (Automotive OEM)

To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional communication and problem-solving skills and be resourceful, analytical, and adaptable with the ability to build rapport with all team members. The Program Manager is responsible for implementing the strategy set by the Account Management team and owns overall success for the assigned OEM initiatives.</p> <p><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coordinate engineering and operations efforts:</li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li>Manage feature requests and write business requirements</li> <li>Prioritize engineering tasks with internal and OEM stakeholders</li> <li>Coordinate system updates for new model years, including service plan, VMG and accessory trigger updates</li> </ul> <li>Coordinate national product and major feature launches:</li> <ul> <li>Plan pilots with Account Management Team and delivery departments, including setting objectives and success criteria</li> <li>Coordinate training for OEM corporate, OEM field and dealers, Affinitiv internal and external field reps, and support reps</li> <li>Plan rollout with Account Team and delivery departments and set up feedback loop</li> </ul> <li>Responsible for providing internal and OEM reporting:</li> <ul> <li>Account success metrics</li> <li>Internal executive-level reports on program success metrics</li> <li>Monthly and/or ad hoc reports to OEM as needed</li> <li>Coordinate client quarterly business reviews (QBRs) in partnership with Account Management Team</li> <li>Coordinate client executive business reviews (EBRs) in partnership with Account Management Team</li> </ul> <li>Partner with delivery departments and Account Management Team to document and maintain, as needed, the following:</li> <ul> <li>Release notes (as well as disseminate to various audiences including OEM Corporate, OEM field, dealers, and internal and external field representatives)</li> <li>Online training materials for dealers, field representatives, and OEM personnel</li> <li>OEM integrations (e.g. file feeds and APIs)</li> <li>Program-specific feature/reporting logic and other program-specific considerations</li> </ul> <li>Meeting and schedule management</li> <ul> <li>Schedule internal meetings as well as draft, store, and disseminate notes</li> <li>Schedule OEM stakeholder meetings as well as draft, store, and disseminate notes</li> <li>Maintain monthly meeting calendar in partnership with other team members and the Account Management Team</li> <li>Lead weekly internal cross-department status calls</li> </ul> <li>Contribute to and uphold quality standards at Affinitiv</li> <ul> <li>Complete program review for OEM-specific features to confirm functionality against business requirements where possible</li> <li>Ensure customer communications either authored or reviewed by Program Manager are professional and positively represent the Company</li> </ul> <li>Escalation support for OEM:</li> <ul> <li>Handle support escalations from OEM and field reps</li> </ul> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>4-year college degree or commensurate experience</li> <li>Client-facing skills:</li> <ul> <li>3+ years external client management skills required</li> <li>Track record of building strong, trusted client relationships preferred</li> <li>Experience assisting sales teams</li> <li>Experience managing SaaS client relationships preferred</li> </ul> <li>Technology skills:</li> <ul> <li>Understanding and experience with standard SDLC processes and methodologies</li> <li>Exceptional critical reasoning skills</li> <li>Moderate or better skills in Excel</li> <li>Experience with Jira a plus</li> </ul> <li>Communication Skills:</li> <ul> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Experience analyzing business requirements</li> <li>Experience writing functional requirements</li> <li>Ability to work both independently and in a team environment</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences</li> <li>Must be comfortable presenting to clients and executive leadership teams</li> </ul> <li>Experience in the automotive industry a plus</li> <li>Experience providing software consulting services a plus</li> </ul> <p><strong>Work from Here&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>At Affinitiv, we have the best of both worlds.&nbsp;&nbsp;
