About the role: We are seeking a talented TikTok Video Editor & Content Strategist to join our team in a remote, contract capacity. This role involves creating emotionally charged and cinematic short-form content specifically for an alternative rock project. The goal is to build a loyal fanbase through engaging visual storytelling. What you’ll achieve: Edit vertical videos (15-60 seconds) with precise music-synced pacing, dynamic transitions, and atmospheric color grading. Develop teaser strategies to maximize music discovery and audience growth. Create over five portfolio pieces showcasing before/after edits with engagement metrics. Stay updated with TikTok trends and apply insights to improve content. Required Skills & Experience: Technical: Proficiency in CapCut or Premiere Pro, sound design, and trending effects. Music Culture: Deep understanding of how alternative rock audiences engage with visual storytelling. Data-Driven: Ability to analyze performance metrics and iterate on content strategy.
