Senior Software Engineer

*Labor Solutions (YC-style) | Senior Software Engineer | Remote (India) | Full-time* We run a worker wellbeing and compliance platform used by global buyers and their supply chain sites across Asia. We're in the middle of a meaningful migration and platform buildout — you'd be joining at a point where architectural decisions matter and your fingerprints will be on the system for years. *The work:* Our stack is Django + Python on the backend, dbt for data transformation, React/Next.js on web, and Expo/React Native for mobile. We run on AWS and Azure. Right now we're migrating legacy services while simultaneously shipping new features — so you'll need to be comfortable holding both in your head. *What we're looking for:* - Strong Python/Django chops — you've built and maintained production APIs, not just tutorials - Comfortable with React/Next.js; bonus if you've touched Expo or React Native - You understand what a data pipeline actually does (dbt experience a plus, but SQL fluency matters more) - Cloud experience on AWS or Azure — not ops, but enough to not be blocked - You care about code quality without being precious about it *What this isn't:* This isn't a greenfield startup with infinite runway.
