About Luminovo Luminovo is the AI-native platform for electronics manufacturing supply chains, used by EMS providers and OEMs across the US, UK, and DACH. We've built strong product and motion, but our visual identity has plateaued at ~80%. The opportunity We're hiring a dedicated brand designer to take over an ongoing visual identity refresh. The strategic direction is locked. We need a strong creative partner to execute it at the level of polish our category needs. Scope of work This is a focused visual identity refresh, not a full rebrand: In scope: Visual system, full template library, comprehensive brand guidelines, Figma asset library, team handoff Out of scope: Logo mark redesign, primary typography (Inter Display stays as headline font; secondary/body/accent fonts can be proposed) Deliverables 1. Visual identity core Color system: primary blue family (bolder, less purple), 2 teal shades, full neutral scale, semantic colors (success/warning/error), full Pantone, CMYK, RGB, HEX definitions Typography system: hierarchy, type scale, weights, line-height rules, pairing for body/accent if needed Iconography: style direction + starter icon library (50+ icons) Illustration style guide and starter set Photography direction: mood, composition rules, treatment guidelines Background and design element system: gradients, glass morphism (digital only), blur shapes, lines Grid, spacing, and layout system Basic motion principles (timing, easing, entrance/exit patterns) 2. Application templates Digital: Ad set (5–8 templates), OG images, social posts, email signature, newsletter template Presentations: Slide master (sales deck + internal deck variants) Documents: Proposal template, one-pager template, report template Print: Business cards, event flyers, booth wall layouts, roll-ups, branded merch direction (mockups for 3–5 items) Web: Component tokens and module designs aligned with our Framer website 3. Brand guidelines document (the deliverable Magier never built) Brand story and positioning summary Audience personas (light, based on our existing data) Logo usage rules: clearspace, min sizes, color variations, backgrounds it can/cannot sit on Color usage: primary vs. secondary roles, accessibility (WCAG AA), proportions, print vs. digital Typography usage: when to use which weight, hierarchy in real layouts Do's and Don'ts with side-by-side visual examples for: color, type, icons, photography, layout, glass morphism use, gradient use Application examples: right vs. wrong across web, ads, slides, print Voice and tone primer (we'll provide our existing copy guidelines as input) Versioning and update process 4. Brand kit (Figma library + asset exports) Single Figma library with components, variables, color/typography tokens Exported assets: logos, icons, illustrations, backgrounds in all formats (SVG, PNG, PDF, EPS where relevant) Pantone-matched print-ready exports Framer-compatible design tokens 5. AI-ready design system documentation ("Claude Skill") Context: Our marketing team is AI-native. We use Claude daily to generate ad variations, social posts, slide layouts, landing page modules, internal docs, and rapid prototypes. For Claude to produce consistently on-brand output, it needs the design system documented in a structured, code-first format it can consume directly. This is not a traditional brand guidelines PDF. It's a separate, machine-readable document that codifies the entire visual system into code, tokens, and copy-paste examples. Single deliverable: luminovo-brand-system.md (markdown) 6. Handoff and implementation 60-min onboarding session with our marketing team Loom walkthrough of the Figma library 30 days of Slack support for Q&A after final delivery Two rounds of revisions per major deliverable Design direction Premium, sophisticated, "top notch" feel for enterprise procurement decision-makers (age 40–45+) Reference brands: Apple, Framer, HockeyStack, Design API, Drata (color and social creativity only) Dark-first with strong light-mode variants Glass morphism, grainy gradients, blur circles No orange tones any more. Bolder blue. Rest is flexible.
