Senior Backend Engineer (Replit Experience Required) – Fintech Platform We are building a fintech-enabled platform focused on transaction attribution, merchant analytics, cashback rewards, and scalable API integrations. We are specifically seeking developers with strong hands-on experience building and deploying applications in Replit. IMPORTANT Do not apply unless you have direct Replit development experience, including: • Building backend services in Replit • Deploying and managing Replit-hosted applications • Working within Replit collaborative development environments • Managing Replit databases, secrets, deployments, and integrations Strong preference for candidates based in Chennai or ability to relocate if hired permanently. Tech Stack Required experience: • Node.js • NestJS • PostgreSQL • AWS • Kard, Plaid, Stripe, Toast, Square etc. integrations • Webhook / event-driven systems • Scalable REST APIs Strongly preferred: • Fintech or payments experience • Transaction processing systems • Background jobs / queue systems • OAuth integrations • Real-time event processing • API security and authentication • Redis • Docker • CI/CD workflows Project Overview You will help build the backend infrastructure for: • Cashback and rewards systems • Merchant onboarding • Transaction attribution • Survey and analytics systems • Payment and payout workflows • Third-party fintech integrations • High-volume scalable APIs Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable backend APIs • Build webhook/event-driven infrastructure • Integrate Stripe and third-party APIs • Architect PostgreSQL data models • Implement authentication and security best practices • Optimize performance and scalability • Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers • Participate in architecture and technical planning Ideal Candidate • Startup-minded • Strong systems thinker • Writes clean, maintainable code • Comfortable working independently • Excellent communication • Experience building production-grade systems To Apply Please include: Examples of Replit projects you built Relevant fintech/payment API experience GitHub or portfolio links Your availability Your hourly or fixed-rate expectations
