Performance Designer | Social Content & Paid Ads (Figma)

We're hiring a Figma-native designer to build and execute a high-performance design system for the founder of a business growth consultancy serving online founders. What you'll do (including but not limited to): Design 12-16 Instagram carousels/month (copy provided by us) Create 10-12 static ad variations/month Design 4-8 YouTube thumbnails/month Build and maintain a Figma design system based on our high-performing templates What we're looking for: Clean, minimalist design that resonates with sophisticated founders. Visual storytelling that stops the scroll and educates the reader. Think Matt Gray's visual style - authoritative, simple, data-driven. No "Canva energy." High signal-to-noise ratio. Working style: Fully async. You'll work in Asana (task management), Slack (quick comms), and Loom (feedback). One 40-minute monthly review call with the founder to analyze performance data and refine the design system. Compensation: $2,000-2,500/month Base: $1,500-2,000 (based on experience) Performance bonus: $500 (earned at 80%+ first-pass approval rate - no edits needed on typography, spacing, alignment, spelling) Monthly performance review: We track saves, shares, and reach data. Bottom 10-20% of formats get killed. Top 10-20% get scaled. Your design system evolves with what the audience responds to. Your first 2 weeks: Build a Figma component library using our existing templates, typography, and brand assets. Create 3-5 core carousel formats optimized for premium, systematic execution.
