Overview: We’re launching a direct-to-consumer Shopify store for a niche water sports product (currently selling on Amazon) and need a lifecycle marketing expert to build a high-converting email, SMS, and WhatsApp automation system. This is a project-based role, not ongoing campaign management. The goal is to set up a complete lifecycle system that captures, converts, and re-engages customers automatically. What We Need Built: You will be responsible for setting up a fully functional lifecycle marketing system using Klaviyo or Omnisend, including: 1. Core Conversion Flows Welcome Flow Abandoned Browse Flow Abandoned Cart Flow 2. Customer Recovery & Retention Winback Flow Seasonal / Annual Reminder Flow 3. Lead Capture Strategy Setup of email/SMS capture popups Segmentation logic for captured leads 4. Templates & System Setup Branded email templates (clean, conversion-focused) SMS & WhatsApp message structure Basic segmentation setup (new vs returning, engaged vs unengaged) Platform configuration (Klaviyo or Omnisend best practices) Important: What This Role Is NOT No ongoing newsletter management No weekly campaign execution No long-term retention management This is a build-and-handoff project. Success Criteria: All core flows are live and functioning correctly Messaging is optimized for conversion (not just set up technically) System is easy for the internal team to manage post-handoff Clear documentation or walkthrough provided Ideal Candidate: Proven experience with Klaviyo or Omnisend Strong understanding of eCommerce conversion flows Experience with low-repeat-purchase products Able to think strategically (not just implement technically) Bonus: Experience working with paid traffic funnels (Google Ads, Meta Ads) Experience with high-margin products and aggressive acquisition strategies Project Type: Fixed-scope / one-time setup If applying, please include: Examples of flows you’ve built (screenshots or loom walkthroughs preferred) Brief explanation of your approach to abandoned cart / winback flows
